ACGA in Bremen in 2012

In 2012 the students of political science at the Bremen University host the Academic Conference and General Assembly of IAPSS.
It is going to last from the 22nd until the 29th of April and its topic is going to be: The States They Are A-changing.
We plan to discuss several aspects of the transformation of statehood concerning the question: “Who governs whom?”

The three days of the academic conference are separated into three topics:

  • 23rd: States or Economy - Who Governs? Post - Growth Economy
  • 24th: States in International Politics - Who Governs? Developement Cooperation in Theory and Praxis
  • 25th: States or Citizens? - Who Governs? Exits from Democracy

The registration for the ACGA is possible until 22nd January 2012. You can find an overview of the participation fees here.

We hope for manifold discussions and positive resonance not only from the participants from all over Europe, but as well from students of other academic faculties at our university.
